Being a teen, and parenting one, is hard.

Navigating the transition to adulthood is full of challenges that can feel overwhelming. You don't have to figure it out alone.

For over the past 15 years, I've had the privilege of working in the mental health field, and for over a decade I have been an individual and family therapist working with adolescents and young adults struggling with anxiety, panic, OCD, depression, ADHD, relationship stressors, and/or school-related issues.

Many of the people I work with experience emotions more deeply and life more intensely.

That sensitivity can lead to perfectionism, people pleasing, self-criticism, or feeling responsible for others. Emotions, urges, and intrusive thoughts may feel impossible to tolerate.

Most of my clients experience emotions deeply and feel life intensely. If that sounds familiar for you or your teen, you're in the right place. Together, we'll find ways to make things feel lighter and create a life worth living.
